Appointment Details
Who are our Clients?
We help women, men, adolescents, children, groups, business owners and workplaces to deal with a wide range of issues and life situations, and to achieve their life goals.
Making an Appointment
Appointments can be made over the phone, online, or directly with your counsellor. No referral is necessary.
Waiting Time
We try to arrange appointments as soon as possible after you contact us, often the same or the next day.
Appointment Availability
Appointments are available Monday to Friday between 9am and 5.30pm.
Treatment Duration
The counselling process is different for everyone. The number of sessions depends on your unique circumstances. Some people achieve their goals in a small number of sessions, whereas others require a longer-term plan. The suggested treatment program will be discussed at your first appointment and adjusted if needed during the treatment process.
Counselling Rooms
Our counselling rooms are relaxing, comfortable and well-appointed. We offer complimentary refreshments, and access to a range of resouces.
Alternate Treatment Delivery
If you are an existing client and cannot make it to our rooms, we can arrange to conduct the session with you over the telephone or via Skype.
Fees
Counselling services are not rebateable by Medicare. However, to keep our services accessible and affordable, we maintain fees equivalent to the out-of-pocket expense for psychology services covered by Medicare. Payment is due at the conclusion of each appointment via cash (preferred) or cheque.
Cancellations
Clients are requested to give at least 48 hours notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment.
